About Photo²Go Booth - Evolution

At last years IAAPA Show (IAAPA 2005), Face Place met with a large number of attendees whose primary businesses were event planning and party rentals. "At IAAPA 05, we exhibited near the inflatable area", stated Face Place VP of Sales, Anthony "Tony" F. Maniscalco, Jr. "The inflatable exhibits drew event planners and party rental specialists directly past our display which gave us the opportunity to introduce them to our photo booth. They recognized our booth had great application to their businesses but they needed it in a smaller, more transportable size."

Face Place’s Director of New Product Development, Don Mauchan had already considered creating a booth that would fit this niche market segment. The feedback the company received at IAAPA 2005 indicated that the project needed to be fast tracked. "The design philosophy was based on developing a booth one person could transport and set up with the least amount of effort without compromising the guest experience or photo strip delivery system", said Mauchan. "The end product came together even better then I anticipated."

The original design of the Photo²Go Booth called for an electric-drill activated worm-gear to extend and retract the seat assembly. Early in development, Mauchan realized such a complicated mechanism would not be necessary. "The unit opens and closes with minimum effort - it’s like opening and closing a drawer", continued Mauchan. "Once the booth is at the event or party location, it takes less then 10 seconds to set it up." Thats fast!

Orders are being taken now for January 2007 delivery.
