October 23, 2006 Garwood, NJ - William Roark of RB Amusements, Inc. in Honea Path, SC wins a Face Place Photo Booth donated by the company as part of the Wayne E. Hesch Scholarship Fund Raising raffle.

About this Years Raffle
William Roark arrived at the AMOA booth early for the drawing hoping to get a good spot from which to hear his name called. Walking a jam-packed show floor can make you tired and so with no other seat around, William took a seat in the Face Place Photo Booth. That's where he was when his name was called. "I was both surprised and elated when I heard my name called", said Roark. "I don't currently operate photo booths but I guess the way this worked out, it seems like I was meant to. I stopped by the Face Place display to thank them and get a review of what I just won. I was impressed by what they showed me and look forward to receiving the booth and putting it out on location."

The 2006 program raised over $52,000 through the sale of raffle tickets for chances to win a variety of coin-operated equipment and supply's generously donated by over 34 industry manufacturer and supplier members. Face Place was one of 9 manufacturer members to donate an entire machine. "We're happy to help the AMOA's efforts for such a worthy cause", stated Face Place CEO and President, Gene Lipkin. "The AMOA operating community has supported Face Place since our beginning and we're honored to be able to give something back through our donation."

About the Wayne E. Hesch Memorial Scholarship
Since its inception in 1985, the Hesch Scholarship program has awarded more than $800,000 in scholarships. Named in memory of the late 1979 AMOA President Wayne E. Hesch, the scholarship program raises funds through raffles held each year during the annual AMOA show.

Applications for the Wayne E. Hesch Memorial Scholarship are accepted through January each year. Application forms are available by calling AMOA at (800) 937-2662 or by visiting their web site, www.AMOA.com. Winners are announced in the spring.
